UK’s Alternative Rock star, PJ Harvey Announces her upcoming 59-tracks project

PJ Harvey’s upcoming projects houses a total of 59-songs unreleased, alternate versions and some of her contents which can’t be found anywhere.

PJ Harvey has announced the arrival of a new box set comprising the collection of songs from back in the day, many which are unreleased, alternate versions of some of her works from B-Side, Demos and Rarities which is scheduled to drop 4th day of November, 2022 via Island Records/Universal Music Group.

The upcoming body of work will be available in three (3) categories including: 6LP, 3CD and all digital platforms worldwide spanning her 3 decades in the industry putting out great contents time after time.

To get fans on her side and to support what is to come, PJ Harvey has so far released 3-songs from the coming project ranging from “Dry” and “Missed” which were both from “Rid of Me” back in 1993 and “Somebody’s Down, Somebody’s Name” which was original from the limited edition of her 1995 album “To Bring You My Love”.

Carrying her old time producers along, Jason Mitchell and John Parish who have worked on at least 3 of her most successful albums team up with some other musical producers on this 59-tracks project.

PJ Harvey took to her Instagram page to write:

“Presenting the definitive collection of PJ Harvey B-Sides, Demos & Rarities, due for release on 4 November 2022 and now available to pre-order as a 6LP / 3CD / Digital boxset. Link in bio.

Comprising 59 tracks, 14 previously unreleased, spanning three decades, the collection features previously unseen archive photography by Maria Mochnacz, with mastering and vinyl cutting by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering under the guidance of long time PJ Harvey producer John Parish.

Of the collection, PJ Harvey says, “To have this collection of songs released to the world means a great deal to me. For every album song I have written there have been accompanying brother/sister songs that for many reasons don’t quite have their place in the world at that time, but do find their way eventually, and are no less important for being later. In fact some of these lesser known works are closer to my heart.”
