Born, Bapshan Peter and spent most part of his life in the city of Jos the Plateau State Capital – is a vibrant Nigerian vocalist, contemporary gospel singer-songwriter and multiple award winner within the gospel music scene with so many records hung on this musical catalogue over the years in including the 2018 single “My Healer” which is off his last studio album “My Healer“.
Hail from Panshin Local Government Area of Plateau State one can say with no doubt that he (Bapshang) comes from a place with rich his musical history in time (the Ngas people) – and from the same place where the legendary singer Dantala of Dantala Group is from.
Over the years, Bapshang has been serving nothing but good quality sounds flowing from “My Healer (which made it to top music chart and Rhythm FM Hit Song of the Week in April, 2019)“, “Risen King”, “An Fara”, “I See Angels”, “Save You”, “Fill this Atmosphere” amongst others.
The singer revealed to Dailytrust Newspaper in an interview that he “…Grew From Chorister To Recording Artist” and it will interest you to know that Bapshang has been in the music scene since 2006 when he made his first studio recording.
Bapshang also revealed how he went from being a Church Choir backup singer to kicking up his musical career as artiste with his original songs.
The singer went further to reveal what influence his pattern of music by saying “I don’t restrict myself to a particular genre of music. It all depends on the inspiration that hits me. However, I do R & B, soul, rock, and reggae music.”
