Emmanuel Ogonna Iwueke (born, December 24th, 1991) to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Uchenna Godwin Iwueke, popularly known by the skit name, Craze Clown is a Nigerian Comedian, YouTuber, actor and medical doctor and a third child in a family of five children.
He is famous for his comic online skits, which revolved around the life of an African Father and the struggle of an African Son. A role he plays quite well with a fellow skit maker, OG Tega.
After his elementary and secondary education, Craze Clown attended some universities before finally graduating from a Ukrainian University. He briefly attended Delta State University before heading to the University of Maiduguri, University of Legon in Ghana and finally had the opportunity to study his dream course, Medicine, at the Kharkiv National Medical University in Ukraine.
Craze Clown started comedy in the late 2000s when he filmed short comic skits and post on social media to reach a larger audience.
He started with a comic skit about an Engineering student who was on holiday and decided to fix some electrical glitches while at home on holiday. He got electrocuted, and the scenarios were delivered comically. The clip went viral and gave him a shot at fame.
Later he started Papa Ade’s short comic series when he was a student in Ukraine. He jointly created the niche with fellow skit maker, OG Tega.
The Papa Ade series mirrors the life of an African father and the struggle of an African kid raised by a single father.
The series is famous for the resounding slaps he dishes out to his son after every perceived mistake he senses from his son. This went viral as his audience began to swell, and he on the other hand had to keep up with the consistency of the content.
Leveraging the influence of social media, Craze Clown has been able to establish himself as one of the biggest names among comic skit makers in Nigeria and Africa at large.
He had the opportunity to make skits with the likes of Taaoma, OG Tega, Nasty Blaq, Bovi, and Sydney Talker, amongst others and has also paired with Nigerian musicians like Falz, Mr Eazi, Lil Kesh.
Over the years, as his reach grows he expanded and started his production company “Craze Clown Production” and a website called houseofcraze.com to promote his brand.
Craze Clown is married to his longtime girlfriend Joan Otanohigbe Iwueke, who is popularly known as “Jojo” and they have a child together.
Craze Clown amasses his wealth from his craft as a content creator and a social media influencer as he also play the role of a brand ambassador for some top brands in Nigeria. His net worth has been rumored to value at about N30 million (unverified).
